It means the end of a 20 year love affair with full suspension bikes

No, it's far too short, see the earlier thread.

Short, with massive head tube, and it's a Pace. Not a lot to love.

Shredder beat me to it and stolen my chance to share my pace ownership experience.

Hmm well I'm surprised. The £499 price point for the frame only was tempting but then again there are other options.

Customer service appears to be a problem which I find most worrying

To be fair their steel frames seem to be without issue so you should be fine

It looks great and price is brilliant.

I've not heard issues with the standard r127 so am assuming the issues of the 29er from quite a few years back have been sorted. So if I had the money I'd be all over it.

I had problems with my RC129 and ended up with a couple of frames that went back. Sorted without issue, I ended up with a refund as no more XL's. I loved the bike and would happily have another.

If I hadn't bought a stooge last year. i'd get one of these and a nice rigid fork.

Fair dues. It ain't happening then. I like the idea of steel bikes, UK manufacturer and aesthetically they look the nuts.

However just for the record my worst bike was a carbon Cannondale full susser several years ago. Workmanship was appalling. Everything that could go wrong..did go wrong. Customer service is everything

From my experiences if it has lasted more than a couple of rides you'll be fine.

I had cracked downtubes, right behind the headset. New frames are tapered and beefed up somewhat over the RC129 and the other problem iI had was rear triangle out of line.
