Bike Park Wales
Bike Park Wales opened its doors to the mountain bikers of South Wales in August 2013 and since then has grown in trails and reputation to be one of the bucket list destinations of thousands of UK mountain bikers every year.
Unlike the predominantly Forestry run parks of the Scottish Borders, Bike Park Wales is entirely privately owned and run on private land. The trails cater for mostly intermediate to advanced riders and are served by a vehicle uplift service.
The project is backed by Forestry Commission Wales and Merthyr County Council and The Bike Park Wales team includes members who have worked at the renowned Whistler bike park, project managers, marketing experts, surveyors, brand managers and accountants.
