Very impressive
Can see my hotel room window...!
Seriously impressive detail.
Useful for spotting dissidents.
Lol! Bit embarrassing for the couple on the balcony of the apartment across the river!
So where IS Wally?
I’m calling bullshit. I zoomed in on the park and no public bin is that clean.
Does anyone else find the city strangely devoid of traffic and people?
I know there are some, but for a city that size? Where the hell is everyone???
FFS, I picked some people to zoom in on and they turned out to be statues. what is wrong with me?
I like the really odd effects you get by looking straight down
what's up with the 2 identical women with the polka dot umbrella's, just slightly left of 12'o'clock on the circular walkway ?
would post a pic but too late, tired, drunk for any of that image hosting ballache
what’s up with the 2 identical women with the polka dot umbrella’s,
I think you've spotted a join in the image; one woman in both shots. The handrail on the near side of the walkway has a slight step, and if you scroll down the image to the other side of walkway there's a head and shoulders on a ghost body.
Impressive but wrong/scary as in a 28days later scary. I spent a week in Shanghai and couldn't wait to escape the oppressive shear number of people everywhere.
The escalator leading up the bund roundabout has the correct saturation of people on it - everywhere else is wrong.
Is this polka dot lady?

Opposite side of that bridge has a similar thing but with 2 women under a umbrella.
That's like that 360 photo I seen on here a year or two ago from the alps. So much detail over such a huge area. Incredible really, in a few years times you'll not need to travel anywhere to go on holiday. Just put on your VR headset and set the atmosphere generator to where ever you like to replicate the temperature, sounds and smells.
It’s a bit like Google Street View, where the moving camera can duplicate things that are also moving. This is a scan and zoom composite of probably thousands of images integrated together, there’s going to be all sorts of little things missed when putting it together; hell, people miss things like telephone poles sticking out of the top of a persons head when taking snapshots!
You reckon a bloke sat at his PC is joining all the images together? 😆
Where are the bikes? I was there in the 90s and there were thousands of bikes at every junction along the waterfront. Have they banned them?
How do you zoom in?
How do you zoom in?
On a PC, you zoom with the mouse wheel.

I usually get a strange feeling of familuarity as it is when I go places, certain streets you land on your like, I know this place. Just cause i've been street viewing the place!

Try looking almost straight down at the Disney building, there are loads of people standing around, and there are plenty dotted around either working or strolling around. The lack of traffic may be just down to the day the photos were taken.
