Doesn't seem to be the Bootzipper or Big Dog, as suggests 650b 150/160mm forks / 29er 140/150mm forks. So presumably not an (Ti)Inbred either ...

Updated Deedar or 456509er?

Don't recall anything on the list of new projects that looks like this!

Spill the beans @brant ... I'm keen!!

It's not a new Jack Flash and that's really what we are waiting for.

Subscribed. Interested in the 29er - how much clearance for the rubber is there? I guess the ss dropouts are possible?

Sorry - missed this.

Ordered. Two of them actually.

There's an exact copy of the original complete with 26in wheels and cantis.

And there's another that was meant to be a 650B one, but I made it 29in by mistake with the same geometry as the medium Scandal 29.

Actually, thinking about it, Jordan Chaos - What sort of idiot would give themselves a name like that to try and sound cool in the bike industry?

sick strike

I bought a 29 strike second hand off ebay. Built it up with 160mm forks. It looks very similar to the 29", with paint. It was sold to me as xxl.

It rides well, especially when things get steep 🙂

List of complaints 0.

It has to be assumed that Tempest is named for Brant...

Well at least we know Martin's username is accurate.

So big it makes 29in wheels look like 26in.

So when he says “list of complaints, 0” that’s because he’s only ever ridden it in the dark and has no idea what it looks like then?

I like it.

Looks a hoot to ride, well downhill.

Not sure I would make the most of a bike like this but doesn't stop me wanting one!

Errr, why do the lines on that bike look strange? I've never really thought of it before, but the angle between the head tube and the seat post just looks really, really wrong to me. Like it's landed heavily on both wheels and the bottom part has be stretched out while the top has compressed.

Also, moss on the bottom of the fence panel. You need to get that scrubbed off and treated. Come on man, standards!

Thanks for the compliments! The paint job is a purple/ blue flip flop job. It looks much better when you can see it move. The lines on the shed don't do it any favours but I've not got any better photos.

It's a mini pump, a big one:-)

It's a 170mm reverb, but my inside leg is 36" so it's a way out the frame.

Shed has seen better days 😉

It rides well both down and up hill and jumps surprisingly well.

I was sold it as being for 160mm forks, but on Brants link he said it's for 150mm. It would probably look less odd at 150.

What about tight corners? From the looks of it you’ve got no chance of getting around one with your front wheel and torso still in the same time zone.
