You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Well I couldn't find a thread so...
Currently with the coughing manflu but not wanting to disturb a 100% rest day available to me tomorrow, I popped of to Swinley early to get some different trails under the Occam's wheels:

Its remarkably dry with a few puddles
I also session these very small drops/jumps. They've always spooked me so usually I avoid them, but not wanting to I had a few goes, got the knack and was soon repeatedly flying across both as if the were natural parts of the trail.

A morning of trying things. As you can see my new "Chilli Red" Madison jacket was good until 10am when it got a bit warm, and I found the Occam a little flat when popping off small features until I removed some air from the fork, and some rebound damping from both ends to make it feel lively again.
I say lively, it wasn't a lively ride as the man-flu left me devoid of energy and I don't really enjoy the polished Swinley stones as to me it feels like you're riding plastic tyres but hey ho, I got out and rode.
the snowy pictures are from wednesday. i left home with no snow on the ground, i got to 500 meters elevation and there was snow everywhere. lovely and sunny, too. yesterday was a bit bleak. fun time, though.

edit. can’t get the 3rd picture to post! it’s not very inspiring
hmm, issues with postimage for some reason. ignore
More Rocky Ligurian epicness today, had a dicky tummy last night and legs felt empty when I set off this morning, that last climb was a killer.

Great autumn day for Jacobs ladder.

Didn't get out Friday for my usual post-work head clear, so grabbed a couple of hours before tea Saturday.
Day of riding with the eldest scruffy (6yo), starting with a spot of CX and finishing with her "brave" hat on in the forest.

Just a couple of hours locally for me Sunday morning. Weather was meant to be sunny. I suppose it was... up above the mist! Not so much rain in the last week or so, so trails have recovered slightly.

Some pics from my ride today, glorious weather in Cheshire. It’s amazing the pick me up a ride in the autumn sunshine gives you.

Great pics as ever... FoD was amazing today. Filthy round here on Weds night ride, really pretty good today.
My bike has a rainbow 🙂
Contains one (justified I think) swear word so not suitable for kids
The first bike adventure squad gravel ride
It’s been a very misty and murky weekend in Aberdeenshire.
On Saturday I went for a stroll along Loch Lee to the Falls of Unich with the other half. It was only 8 miles but my right hip was in pieces and it was painful to walk, oh and my left foot did a bit of bleeding.
Today the hip is still sore to walk but absolutely fine to ride on. I think that I need to do some hip flexor work

May be misty and murky up in Aberdeenshire, but I’d swap it at the drop of a hat if I could! Amazing scenery. Very jealous!
Pootled over the mountain and got some beach pics.
Not sure I could do cold and wet anymore 🙂

Bright but windy out today, with a local Wild Boar hunt going on, 7,400ft of elevation for the weekend and my first 10,000ft week since mid September.

Nice ride out round East Devon, but I've had a nasty cold for the last 8/9 days and the tank felt pretty empty.
45km felt more like 100!

It was November right ??

Absolutely tremendous ride out above saddleworth. 17c on car thermometer on the way back home to Leeds.
Well, until we got to the fog. Total pea souper in Leeds 10 degrees. The right call on where to ride today I think!

Properly Autumnal Sunday bimble this morning.
@stevedoc - where is that, looks familiar....?
Eldest_oab completed 8 Munro's in one go on his bike today...2200m of climbing and descending(!)....
@ Matt .. Grisedale from on and from Carg hill in the Lakes
Accompanied my neighbour over to Glentress - she has only been riding since May but was wanting to test herself a little on some off-piste trails and didn't fancy it on her own. We both really enjoyed ourselves.

really need to take more pics. especially when the weather is that good!
had a chilled scout about on the gravel on friday...

then rode mtb saturday and sunday but on ly snapped this one pic...

I'm fundraising to rebuild my local pumptrack, and thought it would be a good idea to ride the Cumbrian Cracker on a shopping bike to raise the campaign profile.............
Not looking forward to Red Bank!

Up in the north east with a lovely bunch of people, 55km beach/road/gravel/allsorts ride in glorious weather on Saturday, shorter 15km ride on Sunday with an hour or so of kite flying in the middle. Oh, and a couple of very nice ice creams...

First trip to Antur Stiniog this weekend with MrsReady. Some pretty scary trails!

Then a trip to Llandegla on the way home. Hadn't been for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. A good workout, and some real fun sections. Beautiful day for it, parts of the forest looked magical!

No pictures from the weekend so here's on from today's ride.
I really hope this doesn't spell disaster for our local, local spot.
I was hopeful after chatting to one of the forestry guys a few weeks back and them re enstating a trail they had damaged when widening the fireroad.
Seeing the state of the blocks they've felled so far though it doesn't look so good.☹️
It was even warm enough for shorts in middle of November!!

Was going to have night off tonight, but it’s due to rain tomorrow.
