So we built a launch ramp....
[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

And put the kicker on a little wall.

[img] [/img]

Worked quite well. Who needs beautifully crafted Alpine jumps...

Happy days

Looks fun, needs a seesaw .....

Did a seesaw a while back. Looking at the wheelsize, it must have been quite a while back.

....albeit not from the tree house!

Yessss!

Our street ramps (X3 in increasing amounts of boo-age) are still here. Eldest_oab has now progressed from garden jumps - yesterday's video was 30' gap jump...

Sooo, as per the cake thread, the missus gave planning consent for a bit of a gap jump mod...

So we carved out a slab of turf.

[img] [/img]
And wrestled it out of the way.

Chucked some rocks in.....

[img] [/img]

Moved loads of earth from one end of the grave to the other.

[img] [/img]

And scooped a little from under the lower lip of the downhill end.

Then chucked the grass carpet back on and jumped up and down on it some..

[img] [/img]

And offf....

's only a tiny little jump, but not bad for a back garden and he seems well happy.

Where's a good place to uploads vids to link to on STW?

So. Lots of time in lockdown. First of all we hacked this

[img] [/img]

Via this.

[img] [/img]
Which didn't really work.
To this:

[img] [/img]

Which did
[img] [/img]

Post nuclear holocaust aesthetic indeed.

Did a little bit of lockdown skipdiving, and replaced the ramp in the thread above. It wasn't very solid (propped up on bricks) and so didn't really meet the no gnar stipulation very well. It was also placed too far forward. So I built a totally solid one... Right in the corner of the garden....

DROPPING!

[img] [/img]

On the invisible bike 😁

He has also discovered the joys of s small rigid jump bike. In this case his old battered Islsbike that I totally couldn't sell when he grew out of it 6 years ago.

We've had sooo many pinch punctures you wouldn't believe.

[img] [/img]

Got to say, the missus has made a nice job of the bits of the garden I haven't post nuclear apocalypsed.

Your garden build is inspiring, off to build a small gap jump now... may build a wooden start ramp as well 🙂

apologies for the thread resurrection, but if anyone wants the three part northshore section in the first picture then I would love to see it re-used.

It's a short up, a box and then a long down. Or vice versa. Built it about 6 years ago but the kids have kinda outgrown it. The box bit is getting a bit knackered, but can easily be fixed.

Perfect for 6-10 year old kids IMHO

I'll try to get some better pictures.
