Anyone seen this before? I noticed a gap where the tread strip is joined, around 0.5mm, when I mounted the tyre, and after riding it for a couple of weeks it's getting worse. Hard to see from the photos, but I've never seen this joint on any other tub, same make or otherwise (this is FMB 25mm). Same tub on the front and there's no trace of a joint. Looks like they were using up a spare scrap of tread!
I asked for a replacement from the shop, waiting to see what they say.
(if the pics don't work you'll have to imagine the joint!)
