Hope they release an XTR equivalent groupset for gravel racing - they could call that one 'GRR'
*Applause*
That aside, it actually looks pretty good, especially in 1x format. Some clever ideas.
Uugh, the chainring bolts don't line up with the centre of the arms.
Glad to see 2x is still a “thing”..

Should they? Considering pedalling forces are mainly in one direction (clockwise) maybe that is sensible?
Apologies, Chipps, hadn't seen that when I posted. *Doffs titfer*

Hydro cross top levers! Woop!

I don't care as long I can find a way to afford it on one of those 3T aero gravel bikes.

48/30? Hydro top brakes? Take my money.
Hydro cross top levers! Woop!
don't fit my MOAR AERO bars though
cranks
they 110mm 4 arm asymmetric bcd? like all the current road stuff? looks like it, will be harvesting some rings

Well, there must be something different going on with the small ring if they've managed to fit a 30T in there.
ah outer is still 110mm, inner is 80mm
Like it.

+1
Got a V-Twin setup on mine at the moment but it makes the brakes feel quite wooden with the cable routing. The CX is in need of a total overhaul so that's suddenly gone top of the list. Will try and get it through this year's Three Peaks and then completely rebuild it.
should have just made some "gravel" specific xtr/xt/deore cranksets and levers
So they still have that crappy 96bcd arrangement which means you can't put anything smaller than 30t on without using the granny tabs, so swapping chainrings is a massive pain.
I'm wondering whether to jump ship to the golden sunlit uplands of SRAM goodness - this doesn't encourage me to stay in the foggy Shimano lowlands.
So, do we think this will be cheaper than the equivalent Ultegra Di2?
Please say yes!!
Reserving any further interest until UK prices are known. Hopefully it will priced on par with the #asphalt equivalent groups in which case I could be tempted to hydraulicalize my RAG+

The small ring is on a new 80mm BCD so it supports 30T rings. Currently it's 32T minimum (unless you go for the Absolute Black 30T ring set).
Any guesses on how much it will cost?
UK retailers are listing GRX now. Consult the internets...
