Solo ride for me this morning to kick the weekend off to a good start.
You know the score, show us your ride pics.

For anyone that's racing the Enduro at Golfie this weekend it's wet but mega grippy.

Local ride with a mate. He was getting to grips with his brand new orbea rise.

From last weekend in the Pyrenees 🙂 Will post a few more when I get more time. Amazing trip, 4th time there and definitely the best. A proper adventure (and quite a lot of exposure!)

A mixture of riding and hiking for me.

A few more trails from the NATO base and then hiked a few we haven't riden before scouting them out for next year

It was a long slog in the afternoon heat

A blast round the Growth trail at Brechfa today.

PXL_20230929_132848164

Not really riding during the weekends as I'm currently not working so plenty of midweek ones to miss the crowds. Might get another one in in Sunday though, legs definitely can't do one tomorrow!

Brilliant to get out for the first time in ages for a post-work local saunter.

Lovely red moon in the sky, until the cloud came.

Basque MTB again?

@singlespeedstu Not this time. We've a mate who moved near Perpignan about 15 years ago. So he organised six days of epic riding including two nights high in the mountains. It was a proper adventure. When he's uploaded his pics I'll put up a thread with the routes. Ended up at 2600m at one point. Pretty thin up there.

Didn’t take any pictures while having a great ride in the sunshine yesterday, but ended up at the Trackside on the East Lancs Railway for a pint while watching the steam trains chug past. All the better as I was meant to be working, but a client was fannying around so I went out on the bike instead. Not sure how many days like this we’re going to get this year

Solo ride at Hamsterley today. No mates, no faffing, no time limits. Just followed my nose and found loads of steep, greasy loveliness.

Also, why do 90% of e-bike riders look like Peter Griffin's twin brother?

Interesting contraption found in a field (and the metal wheel thing, arf!)

Escaped for a jaunt from the SE London to the South Downs with a mate

Set off mid afternoon yesterday and after pub dinner, arrived at the top in the dark to set up bivvies. This morning's photos:

The planned half way cafe stop was closed, eventually stopped half an hour from home, had earned this 🙂

Went out for a local loop in the rain. No pics, but got a mouthful of Chatsworth sheep poo and completely covered in mud, had a pint in Bakewell then the return leg, hosed ourselves down at the local with more beer involved. Took this pic just before the ride in the park next to our gaff walking the FiL's dog (phone pic)

The slop has arrived! Still fun though once you embrace the lack of grip, and Blazin Saddles bike wash came in very handy.

Very wet, pretty classic "off piste" corris side dyfi loop, although did find a new to us trail as well - quite boggy but should be good in the dry.

These markers weren't there last time i rode dyfi either, never seen markers for off piste before.
