Too good a bargain to miss out on. I thought I'd use it as a donor bike for a custom Ti fatbike frame but I've not felt the need to replace the frame. Looking forward to my second winter on it.

Last Frame was a Flaremax, Last full bike a Pickenflick. I nearly pushed the button on a Diverge last week as a new commuter but then my LBS showed me the Ridley Kanzo Fast.

Last bike purchased September '19 was this:

20200405_104507

But I'm currently riding this:

20191012_101324

I am looking to replace this next year which I'm posting for @footflaps benefit, albeit yesterday I realise what a mine field it is so currently can't be bother to consider that:

As a family we have sold more this year than we have bought.

Fist up was a Stumpy ST when Evans were selling them off at silly prices.

[img] [/img]

Next was an impulse purchase Levo SL in lockdown after cancelling the Alps trip. Swapped quite alot of the stuff out for what we had in the garage so its nothing like the photo

[img] [/img]

Had been looking for a frame for Abigale for quite some time when she found a full bike at a bargain price

[img] [/img]

It was supposed to be used as a family bike but when she returned from a month of wild camping in the Alps and couldn't stop talking about it we decided to source another.

Managed to find one just for me and swapped some stuff over from another bike.

[img] [/img]

Sold three bikes in the last couple of weeks and just got one left to sell.

Overall upgrades with not much outlay in the end. Once the last one sells will probably be at break even for the year

I have technically just paid for a titanium, gearbox, hardtail frame but that won't be delivered until close to xmas, so doesn't count.

Bought a bargain flat bar singlespeed off FB marketplace for £250. Always fancied a Cinelli...

Added drop bars, and rebuilt the wheels with tubeless rims, to make a stealth commuter bike:

Planet X XLA

Bought this for commuting, been great - 1*11 is all I need for the commute. Not riding it much since lockdown as we're mostly out on the tandem (the bike I bought prior to this, as it happens), I'm on;y using it for popping to the shops and so on.

Just before March lockdown got a Vitus Sommet CRS (2019 version) and then a month ago bought a new Spesh Diverge Elite. On the flip side, I also sold an older Diverge and my 2011 Spesh Stumpy FSR Elite...so have only maintained an overall 'n' equilibrium 😉

Newest is a Whyte E-160, replaced a T-130 as my daily full suss. Loving the 'fitting more riding into the available time' aspect. Did a 33-mile night ride last night, then home for tea 👍🏻

Last bike actually acquired, my long awaited but very lovely 18 Bikes No.9

Last bike purchased, Transition Ripcord for the boy, which should be here just in time for Christmas.

Not 100% sure which one I've been more excited about TBH, wee man's going to be so stoked.

Bought back in Feb before the world (and bike prices) went mad.

It was an absolute bargain at £1,900, which I then made less of bargain by changing half the parts.

A 2013 Orange Alpine 160 bought on eBay about 3 years ago. Upgraded it with carbon wheels and some xtr and it’s now around 30lb which is pretty good considering how much abuse it will take; far more than me that’s for sure.

Prior to that, it was My Pole Taival, built July last year.

I was working round a friends house recently, they lent me their bike to take away and try......a few weeks later they didn't appear to want it back and I didn't want to give it back-so I ended up buying it .I had no plans to get a new bike,I very rarely buy bikes but fate just kind of intervened this time.
