It is excellent - I only watched the first series a couple of months ago, but read the books a while back. I didn't think Oldman would be right as Jackson Lamb, but he's pretty outstanding; and many of the rest of the cast are spot on too

Started watching this the other week as I got a 6 month trial. Absolutely fantastic and Oldmsn is superb. The scene where he’s sat eating the Chinese was utterly disgusting. I hate noisy eaters, Oldman looked like he loved that scene.

If, like me, you signed up for an Apple trial in order to watch Slow Horses, then Blackbird is worth a watch, it's pretty standard serial killer fare tbh based on a true story. I enjoyed Causeway with Jennifer Lawrence too. Apple TV is pretty light on thrills.

I tried on this, I really did, but it felt like a slog. I think it's because there isn't really a single likeable character apart from the insurance broker's brother; and the husband is loathsome. In theory it should work ("you hate this guy, now find out how he died"), but not for me.
