Balls - Just had a look at the pricing and I'm pretty sure this is an easy money maker HOWEVER the delivery is the issue. Tried a few addresses too.

I imagine that this flags up as needing 'special big thing delivery' on the wiggle system but they perhaps dont have any contracts with anyone who can do it. Bummer.

Well, I've ordered a Utgard tent and sleeping cabin for £230, well over £1k usually. Let's see if it turns up. We're getting rid of our static caravan, so this will be better than our current tents.

I'm getting the 'can't deliver to this address' message for a dog lead so it doesn't appear to be a bulk related issue. Not sure what's going on as, like most, I've had loads of stuff from Wiggle in the past to work and home addresses.

I had one in my basket and kept refreshing overnight, check ten mins ago and delivery was suddenly available so ordered on the credit card just in case.

no idea if they reserve stock when it is in the basket but as it let me proceed to order I'm crossing my fingers!

^^ Fingers crossed mate!

Will you be selling or keeping? I'm not judging, I would have sold if I'd bought one. Lol

Will have to see if the tent goes through - still 'processing' although ordered two hours ago.

Wiggle lady said that they were all out of stock at their supplier, and Wiggle's systems just hadn't caught up with it.

Some good deals on Nordisk tents, (assuming they're actually available). £1.2K tents for £250. I've ordered myself a big ol' tarp. and some socks and a seatclamp.

Fingers crossed, but I shan't be surprised if the tarp is cancelled, just advertised to get people onto to the site so they buy socks and seatclamps.

that sounds like bollocks, why would wiggle be selling stock they don't physically have for 80% off?

hi tentbox, can you ship 3 tents to xyz, sure no problem, invoice in the post, invoice would be more than what they sold for surely

Nordisk tent, sleeping pod and groundsheet ordered.
Fingers crossed it goes through as that will be the tent sorted for next year's Scandic roadtrip.

I frequently see them coming up on searches with ridiculous discounts for stuff they don't have, maybe some kind of 'optimisation' to get in front of people's eyeballs without the need to actually supply the stuff at that price.

I'm hoping the Red paddle board my friend ordered last night for a ridiculously good price turns up as it was me who suggested she buy from Wiggle. Let's see what happens.

I like how half of it opens up to reveal all of my mess inside the tent 🙂

I know, you'd think a functional going concern would get this kind of thing right. Oh wait....

Screenshot_20231110-193055Apparently I've bought one. Had the page open on my basket checkout since this morning. Just flicked onto it now and it offered me delivery. Stuck it on the Amex. Let's see what happens!

TBH whilst I gave it a shot this PSA never made sense. It is way too cheap and they could have sold them twice over at twice the price!

maybe someone in wiggle has a friends and family deal going on? I wouldn't blame them!

My Nordisk Utgard has arrived. Blimey, what a bit of kit. Need to find storage space for it. The groundsheet is weighty.

It's a "sell everything this week" approach to pricing, not a "don't wait 'till spring" winter sale.

This is not a going concern seeking to just shift some demand forward, it is a company in administration seeking to pay creditors enough to be able to sell out to a buyer ASAP.

Damn - missed the nordisk tents. Though I'm completely at a loss as to why you'd want to open up tent like that.

I probably won't open the tent, no point really, but for the money it was a bargain. Current tent is showing it's age.

broadly agree, but they could have sold these at £500 and still have moved them all in 24 hours. There is a balance between shifting stock to release some cash back in the business.

This one seemed "off" as in TGTBT

Mine arrived today as well and my £159 £29 Lowa GTX walking shoes arrived on Saturday.

Pleased with my purchase's but feel a little grubby about it.

It should be perfect with our overlander XC90 for use as a rear awning.

Well, I have just ordered an SUP - £650 down to £150. That's the kids' Christmas present sorted - and we're staying next to Coniston Water for Christmas so they can have a play 🙂 I'll be in the hot tub drinking Champagne and watching them.

My tarp arrived today, pack is same size as our old 3-man tent and twice as heavy. I can only guess how sizeable yours is!

My thought was for garden camping, or kids parties when you want to be outside but it might rain a bit. The tarp will do those jobs nicely, though!

My Nordisk Ydun Sky arrived today. We put it up in the sitting room and it is very impressive.

I also thought the opening side would be really good for using it in the garden.

i see someone bought a few Nordisk tents and has them up on eBay , predictable
