It might not be the best or the lightest, but £145 for the whole groupset is irresistible.

This includes an extra £10 off for CLEAR2022.

Great but not boost if that matters

Good price, wouldn’t have got that a couple of years ago. Non boost chainring looks like the only possible downer

Has NX got any better?

my experience with serially failing NX mechs really put me off

They had a good deal on this a while back, but not sure it was that good.

Anyone know if it's possible to run these on a press-fit BB?
I'm debating this for my Stumpjumper FSR to bring it into the modern age. It's currently on 3x9 triple and has got a BB-92A press-fit BB, I think.
Current crankset is HTII XT.

BB-92A press-fit BB

I think it’s one of these

Been running it on my hardtail for a couple of years and it's been fine, at this price probably worth it for spares!

@stumpy01 yes, you just buy a DUB bottom bracket that suits your frame. I think you'd need this one but BB standards confuse the hell out of me.

Could do with a new groupset on my Mk1 Solaris, which is running a Shimano set up

Can anyone please confirm
- will the cassette fit a normal freehub. My happens to be a Hope pro 2 evo one but it's running a normal Shimano (11-40 I think) cassette
- I'm running a screw in Hope bottom bracket on the bike, can I buy an adapter to convert mine to be dub friendly or will involve a whole new bottom bracket? (and potentially a tool to fit it)

Normal HG freehub, yes.

Hope DUB converter requires a 30mm BB (not a 24mm one), what are you running at the moment?

NX cassettes fit old style freehubs, they only go down to 11. If it goes to 10 like GX it needs the XD driver.

Admittedly I never used it that much before selling the bike but I had NX 11sp on my Hardtail and it was faultless. I set it up once and never touched it again for 3 years.

I’ve got a temporary NX Eagle shifter in place of my GX and can’t say I notice any difference in use (I will put the GX one back on when I have it though just because).

SX is the current snappy one I think.

Quick follow up.

Mine has arrived already - so less than 24 hrs (on standard delivery). And its not even OEM. Proper boxed stuff.

@kelvin - I think it's 24mm, it's a Hope screw in BB to fit a Shimano Zee crankset from 2014, I think it's 73mm wide

I think that means I need a new threaded bottom bracket if I want to go with this groupset. At least the Cassette will fit ok I suppose

Is it correct that the boost part of the chainset is just the chainring?

So a boost direct mount chainring will make it all fine with 52mm boost chainline?

Yes it is for SRAM.
I think 3mm offset is boost and 6mm non boost.

The rear mech fragility can be totally solved by retrofitting a X01 hanger bolt assembly thing, not sure what the proper name is. £25 or so.

Excellent price for the groupset.

NX is still going strong on my 2000 mile old Whyte 901. I’d buy this if they had 165mm cranks in stock.
