I noticed that, but oddly the SP blurb says specifically that it comes without a reservoir - normally, I think, the reservoir is included with Osprey hydration packs and looking at the Osprey brand website, it does seem to include a 2.5 litre bladder normally... so, it might be worth clarifying with SP if you're thinking of buying. If it is the case, it makes the full 'RRP' stated a bit dubious too.

Good packs though.

Oh, hadn't spotted that. Add in the cost of a reservoir and it's not so much of a bargain. Sorry folks, and thanks BWD. OTOH the Raptor 14 I won in the Mayhem Christmas Comp 10 years ago is getting a bit tired, and its original Osprey Hydraulics reservoir is still OK and much nicer than the Hydrapacks they ship these days. Hmmm...

This PSA works for me! Need a big for riding that's good for hold an (inevitable) families worth of clothing, snacks, etc. Not needing a reservoir.

25l sound about right?

30L probably better for a whole family's worth of jackets and such...

I was going to say check Go Outdoors but I think the best of their sale has gone. I'm picking up a Syncro which I got for £33. And they had the 25l Escapist for £60.

Assuming the quality hasn't changed (big assumption I know, has any VC bought them recently?) Osprey stuff is amazing - I have a day pack and duffels bought about 20 yrs ago that have *nothing* broken on them and don't really look tired either.

I'd take a look, but obvs. my 20 yrs old stuff is still going strong, so...

Took a chance on the Raptor 14 as I already have a reservoir that I could use. Arrived today including the 2.5l reservoir.

Love my Raptor 14, highly recommended. Mine was only £35 from Wiggle! A few years ago now mind.

Some nice looking Kilpi ones on sportpursuit also, if anyone looking 30l size.

Hmm, My Synchro 20 came without a bladder. But then the advert never said it would. Though in the ad for the Raptor is specifically says no bladder, so I guess @easygirl and @infernocup got lucky :/
