Carphone warehouse are taking pre orders for the Google 6 @ £299.
Seems strange taking pre orders for an older phone but I'm guessing they've found some pixel 6 on a container somewhere.

Had to wait almost a month for the Pixel 6 I got cheap in the BF sales, other colours were going to be longer still.

If I didn't already have one I bought 2 months ago for £370 with case and screen protector (£100 cheaper than anywhere else at the time) I'd jump on that, great deal.
There's also a Pixel 6A in stock (same price, less discount); for a smartphone numpty, what's the difference?
6a is slightly more recent, slightly smaller. Much lighter.
Same processor in them both. a bit more memory in p6 8gb Vs 6gb.
Wide angle cam is the same. Main camera sightly better on the 6.
Both waterproof.
Both metal frame.
P6 has a glass back, 6a is plastic.
6a also has the older camera sensor I think?
I have a 6a and like it, but the battery life isn’t as good as the 5a it replaced.

Thanks for this, but ended up with 2 Pixel 7 instead. One for me and one for Mrs Yiu.
Went for the £29 up front, £31 24 month Vodafone upgrade plan lucky we are already with Vodafone and due an upgrade but a new plan cost the same. Equivalent sim only plan is £13 so that's £460 for the phone which is not bad already.
Then on top of that, you get a free Fitbit versa 4 with the phone. They go for around £100 - £130 on eBay so I will probably get £100 back after fees and postage. I also got an extra £40 off for referring Mrs Yiu as well.
That works out about £340 each and get to pay for them over 24 months which is great as both our phones are on their way out.
You need to be quick though as the Fitbit deal ends tonight.
Hmmm. Might need to consider this. I've got a pixel 5 that I like a lot and looks like I could trade in for £155 at least. A newer battery would be a bonus but....I quite like the size of the 5 and the toughness. 6 is glass backed and 5 aluminium so a bit more robust.
Just a heads up on case anyone is tempted by the bleeding edge Pixel...
