Some big reductions, no idea if it’s any good…
https://www.freewheel.co.uk/brands/bliss-protection
wow. some of that is exceptionally cheap... postage a little steep on some things...
Needs sizing ideas though really as i want some elbow pads for my lad.
I've been using Bliss pads for afew years, a tad bulky but very comfortable. Some bargains there!
Thanks was looking for some new pads 👍
@weeksy I'm a medium in the knees and small elbows in the arg minimalist if that helps!
thanks Danger... not really sure mate... he's a fussy bugger with pads too, we tried 3-4 sets on recently and didn't like any. He's got a set of POC he hates so invariably ends up in his 661 pressure suit instead.
Great PSA - 4 new sets of pads on the way to us, half the household already wear Bliss so it's new for old time.
Cheers OP, taken a punt on some knees, elbows and vesty thing.
🙂
Mrs NBT is very slightly built, loves her bliss arg vertical knee and elbow pads
Brill PSA, 2 sets of knee pads and an upper body full sleeved thing heading my way. Free delivery to my LBS and free returns too; can’t knock that!
Found a sizing chart here
Which says I'm a medium knee, unless I measure at thickest part of thigh then I'm a large?

How does the padding compare to D30?
Anyone already got the long sleeved jacket? I've just bought a Raceface Flank Core D30 which has spine and shoulder protection, but I don't have elbow pads and this looks very good for the price.
Thanks for that kimbers, been hovering over the buy button on a vest thing I absolutely don't needbut now I recall why I didn't get the bliss one last time. Medium chest&waist but xxl height so the coccyx protector will be under my shoulder blades!
Nice! Had good experiences with their stuff. Have ordered a vest
Thanks op! New elbow pads for my noodle arms.
Just had a mail saying my order has been cancelled.
bahahahahahaha
Nice one. Just ordered some minimalist knee pads in small (sizing chart, and a bikeradar review suggest they come up large, so a small should fit)
Hopefully more comfortable as a 'wear all the time option than my Dakine pads ...
Great PSA, just what I needed. Thanks.
Been thinking about getting some knee pads for a while, now I have some ordered (and some gloves)! Thanks for the heads up...
And now an email saying they're on their way
Just had an email. Being delivered tomorrow.
Good PSA
Thanks for the PSA!
My knee pads are in need of replacing so I'll give these a try.
They look very similar to my 661 Kyle's Straights that I wore for years, so I'm feeling hopefull!
Tried to order 2 x minimalist elbow pads in M but only 1 in stock so...bugger.
Any one-armed off-road bikers out there in need of a single elbow pad?
Could order 1 through Freewheel and another - at full price - from different retailer...
Got an email after ordering for 15% off next order within 2 weeks, cha-ching.
Tried to order 2 x minimalist elbow pads in M but only 1 in stock so…bugger.
It'll be one pair, not one.
Thanks for the heads up, great psa and need some replacement knee pads as mine are falling apart. Couldn’t find a chart for sizing so ordered two sizes, free returns though so all good.
Jacket ordered yesterday and delivered today. I paid for next day though as I need it for Scotland next week. Given the amount of discount I don't mind (too much) the extra tenner it cost.
Cue loads of people saying they opted for free delivery and it came today as well...
Yup - free delivery selected and it was here by 8.12am thanks to the earliest DPD delivery I've known for years 😀
Yeah mine arrived this morning with the cheap delivery. Not sure if I'll keep the knee pads, they're probably more heavy duty than I need. They feel a bit bulkier than my old enduras.
My order is apparently waiting at the shop for pickup, this is good because it's quick, this is not good as I can't get there until Saturday so it'll be getting in the way for a couple of days.
Having selected lbs delivery this is also likely to be a very expensive psa. It's the same reason I try and avoid bakeries.

Seeing as Freewheel is essentially a initiative by a distributor to give indie bike shops access to a decent B2C website and click and collect facilities... that's probably the point.
that’s probably the point.
A big part of it certainly, doesn't mean I can't see a certain irony in "saved £30 on x, spent £100 on y in the process of picking it up"
I had to select a shop as part of the order process even though it was being delivered to my home address. Not one of them was one I’d willingly spend money in.
I ordered a back protector vest which arrived yesterday, so got next day for free!
It's a good fit, seems good quality.
I ordered a couple of pairs of the knee pads.
They both seem pretty decent!
Thanks again for the PSA. The two pairs come to less than I've ever spent on a single pair.
I hope they work i a fall 🙂
Not much left now...
My vest thing got cancelled and refunded but the rest is on the way & coming today I think.
🙂
Anyone else finding the full top a bit snug under the arms? It's a large and I would have swapped it for an XL but obviously there's nothing left anymore.
Bit strange; I did two separate orders. The second one has arrived at my lbs but I haven’t been able to pick it up but I’ve spoken to them and it’s there.
The first order (5 mins before the second) was dispatched from the warehouse according to an email but I’ve just had another email to say that my returned items have been refunded…they were never delivered never mind returned…of course that email came at 5 mins past 5pm so I can’t call them until Monday now ☹️
Bum.
Mine arrived, burly knew and elbow pads and padded shorts.
Knee pads do seem like Kyle Strait copies, which is good cos that’s what I’ve worn out.
Large knee pads are a bit tight above the knee, prob should have gone XL.
If anyone ordered medium 'ARG Minimalist' kneepads but would have preferred small, let me know and we can do a swap.
I ordered mine to LBS and it turned up at home...
Anyone got Xs minimalist elbow pads,
Rode with the team knees after they turned up at lbs, (which is a very roady shop, doubt they sell knee pads ever)
Nice loads of protection, exactly what I'm after for enduros
Anyone else finding the full top a bit snug under the arms?
Went for a medium and a pretty good fit but a bit tight around the elbow armour. The armour is all proper certified stuff and the offset zip is going to make it way easier to get off at the end of a sweaty day than my RaceFace flank top so I’m well impressed for the price paid.
Interesting. I have the Flank and the Bliss, both brand new and I’m undecided which to keep. The D30 in the Flank feels nicer but the Bliss has much better coverage.
It was exceptional quality for the money but I’ve just returned the large long sleeved armour top. It felt a bit too snug and maybe a bit excessive for the riding I’ll be doing.
The D30 in the Flank feels nicer
plus is easily removed for washing and individual pieces of armour can be replaced if damaged (at least I think they can, it all looks standard shapes just like my motorcycle stuff)
I’ve finally tried the Bliss on. It’s not as uncomfortable as I feared and the extra protection over the Flank Core is welcome but…
…WTF were they thinking with the cuffs??? I haven’t got slim wrists (or anything else for that matter) but they are huge!
I got mine sent to lbs but not heard anything about it arriving etc. Anyone else had radio silence?
WTF were they thinking with the cuffs??? I haven’t got slim wrists (or anything else for that matter) but they are huge!
I bought the medium elbow pads and the lower elasticated bit is really baggy.
I know my guns aren't that impressive, but sheesh.
…WTF were they thinking with the cuffs???
I got the full jacket thing but the cuffs for me (medium) are halfway up my forearm and plenty snug. I’d assumed that was how it was meant to be but do your sleeves go to your wrists?
Anyone got an X's pair of minimalist elbow pads, bought small for son but too big do I'm having them but no X's left
Click n collect was a bad choice, bike shop hasn't contacted me back after I rang them, checked TNT tracking from the despatch note pdf and they were delivered to the shop last week.
Well had my first proper crash in my Team Knees today and they did a brilliant job, went down pretty hard and landed on my knee, slid for a while too and my knee was unscathed and the pads too
obviously my bare elbow was not so lucky
I’m not keeping my XXL jacket so if anyone wants it pm me.
Anyone bought the team vest and thought about swapping the foam out for a D30 back piece, can those D30 vipers be trimmed to fit.
