swapped 1up for Orbea post on an Orbea Rise. Post is same length BUT because the cable comes in right at the front bottom of post its

- at a super tight angle and won’t seat properly so action is really heavy

- is pushing the power button out.

can you reverse the bottom mechanism on the post so it has the cable coming in at the back?

and/or

any suggestions for a cable or doohickey that will deal with the awkward angle (has anyone used anything like Nokon on an internal dropper?)

fiddling with it needs cranks/chainring/motor removing so want to know what’s possible before doing that or spending money.

Yes. I did one for a mate, his dropper routing (long dropper, awkwardly positioned shock hardware in the seat tube, tight kink at the bottom). It's got about 150mm of segmented housing immediately before the dropper. Needed a few extra bits (double ended ferrule for starters) and i've put it in heat shrink so it doesn't snag on anything.

Without that it was a pain to remove the post, it'd kink and jam fairly often if it was removed and the action was crap unless you pumped the outer full of oil weekly. With the segmented stuff it's been fine for a year or so.

I'm pretty sure the green bit at bottom of the post where the cable hooks on can be rotated.

I've got a 180mm post on a Rise which according to the Orbea tech paper, shouldn't fit all the way. However, while I was fitting it, I was able to fully insert so it. Maybe I just got lucky with how the wiring loom was sitting.

Actually thinking about it, is yours an M? Mines an H so will be slightly different.

Either way though, I'm almost certain that you can spin the bottom of the post round. It screws into the body of the post and isn't sealing anything so doesn't really matter how tight it is. Have a look at the service manual for the post.

I unscrewed the bottom plate with the actuator part of a turn (I can't remember how much) so it ran behind the pivot on my cotic. It's been like it 3 years with no issues.

Do not just pull the current outer cable through.

Almost impossible to replace without removing motor and battery.

They used to do small extension packs for nokon (we used a load of leftovers in this case), and the double ferrule you should be able to get from any decent LBS.
