On Friday night the National Champs circuit race will be in Redcar.
Hour long races starting at 6:30 for the women and 8pm for the men.
Thinking of going down to see some action and consume a lemon top. Anyone else heading down?
Forecast is good so bring you bucket and spades for a full evening of seaside fun.

Cycled down to see the short course champs tonight. 1km ish circuit of 55 mins + 5laps.
The women's race had a big pause for a crash over half way through (one ambulanced off) and was decided with a 10 lap sprint. Megan Barker won the inevitable (slightly downhill and fast) sprint finish
Men's race looked mental fast to watch. Oliver Woods got a gap at about halfway and held it to the finish as the chase seemed to struggle to organise. Good to see bike racing so close up though and worth cycling down to watch. I think the highlights are on TV sometime in the week.
Just a bit surreal, Redcar sea front, parmo shops, a jazz band, the lifeboat, lemon tops and a bike race.
Main road race champs in Saltburn on Sunday and I can walk there.
