Riding in QE Park on the red route. I was going reasonably quickly on the long down hill traverse near the end heading towards the car park.

I hit a stump or something and get thrown forward off the bike but manage to land on my feet so am half running and half falling forwards for a couple of paces.

Just as I am about to over balance my bike rolls past me and I can grab the handlebars, remount and ride on down the trail!

I am still not totally sure how it happened but the only 'damage' appears to be that my handle bars were pointing about 15 degrees out. I really wish there had been someone following with a camera so I could watch it in detail. It all happened so fast.

Off to buy a lottery ticket.

That sounds awesome !

love that the bike came back to rescue you... do you think Tonto was hiding in the bushes to send Silver back your way?
