Anyone else entered yet?

This is exactly what my 11 year old son and I have been waiting for.  We're in!

Question is, Enduro lid or Full Face?

Ummmm interested. Would like to know a bit more on layout/trails etc. Will it have uplift of any description? Will it be on designated trails?

Your choice of lid! Obviously helmets need to be worn at all times when on the bike, but no compulsion for full face. That's your decision to make 😉 Great to know you are entered! See you there 😉 You won't be on your own we have quite a few entries so far! Going to be fun!

There won't be any uplift for the series, it will be a youth 'enduro' team format so pedalling the lap 😉 We will configure it to allow the younger classes to make it around (probably cake/sweetie stations too)! Whilst at the same time adding optional extras for the slightly older classes. Mostly blues (the first 3 stages) and the 4th stage for the older riders will be a blue/red with some more challenges (optional).
The first event at Bike Park Wales will be on their marked trails closed for the event, our following events will be one event at a completely new venue and two more at Trail parks. More info on these as we confirm the dates 😉

Thanks fella... that certainly makes it something we're likely to enter tomorrow on payday then 🙂

We're in - my 9 year old is really looking forward to BPW, and surprisingly, looking forward to racing with me too!

Look forward to seeing you there! Might try and find a 'youth' I can race with too! 😉

Would love to have done this, but (as commented on the news article) can't make that weekend.
Keeping an eye out for the rest of the series though 🙂

This looks like a great idea. Do you (Chris) have a sense of the size (distance or height gain) of the ride to help gauge how well it would work for our 8 yer old and his three speed hub?

Really hope it works out for you as it looks a fun way for adults and kids to ride/race together.

Anyone got a quite excited kid who is looking forward to the weekend?

<span style="font-size: 0.8rem;">If you see the lad (Jacob, riding kit and bike as per below) and I (Dan, I'll be on a Green Chromag 29er) say "Hi!"</span>
