Quick question as Google has failed me…
Do Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres, size 29x2.6 on a 30mm internal rim, fit acceptably well through a 2018 29er Pike with boost spacing?
Should do,
but more importantly have you found them online for a decent price?
@ the00 - it fits fine in a boost lyrik 29, off a 25mm rim, and, to my delight, with the mudhugger I used to have on my old 650b pikes
@ andy brad - no. they were £42 from our German friends
got a link? bike discount only have the 2.35 ones
I was looking here…

cheers
I run 29x3" Bontrager tyres in my 2018 Revelations with an Enduroguard mudguard. The lowers are the same as Pikes.
Boost or not Boost?
Minion DHF 2.5 on a 30mm internal rim is tightish in a non-boost pike.
I say tightish, you have carefully select a front fender.
@oldejeans, boost is a real game changer in this context.
In the case of the older Pike and original Yari, a tyre (2.8 Ranger or 2.3 Vigilante) on a 27.5x35mm rim barely fits in the 2015 27.5 Pike chassis but has acres of space in the 2015 Boost Yari...
No personal experience with the post-Charger2 Pike or Lyrik/Yari chassis, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find a similar situation even if the basic dimensions have grown a bit...
Well it arrived today… so I will fit it and try, measure, photo and feedback.
not as big as expected then?
mines on order
What are people pairing with this on the rear?
Wish they did a Rock Razor 2.6 in 29!
I run a 29x2.6 MM on the front & 29x2.6 NN speed grip on the rear.
this front bucher 2.6 rear
R2 also now have 29x2.6 WT Minions in stock. Definitely fits into a Boost Helm fork.
Tyre is 63mm across the outermost corners of the knobs:

And breezes through the fork easily, even with a mudguard:
