I'm thinking about upgrading my current bar light (Niterider Lumia 750) to something more powerful (and still self-contained). I was looking at Exposure Race and them came across this:  https://www.lightandmotion.com/taz-2000-black-pearl

On paper it looks like it's an amazing unit!!! Has anyone here got a chance to test it?

What are L&M with warranty in the UK like?

Cheers!

I have a Taz 1500 and it's fantastic! Perfect bar light, great beam pattern, it's a good 4 years old but still lasts as long as it did when it was new.

Been a big L&M fan for ages just because of their reliability and build quality, I have Seca's that are 5-6 years old still going strong, got some that were used for daily commuting in all weathers that are a bit outdated now but still work fine.

Really under rated brand IMHO, not cheap granted but I'd rather that than buy lights that end up as landfill after year.

Can't comment on Warranty as I've never had to use it.

L&M? warranty? what would you need that for? 🙂 I have a 150lm Stella, still going. Not that it gets used anymore.

Great build quality on all their stuff. I have a Seca 1500 bright enough for anything, can't imagine using it on the road though. Black Pearl looks very good.

I have a Seca 900 Race Ultra (I think) and it is a superb piece of kit...been going for about 6 years now and still going strong.

When the Seca was first out, L&M had an advert in the mag showing the testing done by them and competitors and the L&M was the closest to actual lumens quoted (I now can't recall what the other way of measuring them is).

Enjoy the new purchase!
