Can anyone recommend any hotels in Krakow? Two couples going, just want something clean and comfortable in a central location.

Not a hotel but apartments.  http://www.antiqueapartments.com/apartments  Stayed here with a group of friends a couple of years back and it was fantastically priced and located. Really comfy and the rooms we had had nice views over the square. The Main Square (Rynek Glowny) is 2 mins round the corner too.

Vienna House Andel’s Cracow was very nice when I was there in April  Dead central and about 5 minutes from the train station from the airport.

We stayed here  http://hotelcopernicus.com/ - perhaps a bit spendy but it was a great place in a great location.

We went a few years back and stopped at Spatz Aparthotel, good central location. Nice and clean, good sized room.

on Miodowa street

I can absolutely recommend Venetian House Aparthotel - Market Square.

Beautiful rooms that look right out on to the main square and not too pricey.  Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Linky

Everything is quite literally on your doorstep so an aparthotel is perfect.  We made our own porridge for brekky whilst looking out over the square, then went exploring.

Really liked Krakow.  Amazing place, great food, of course, it's long history.

Second Andels.

Nice and clean, central, Trafford Centre type place across the way for a mooch/food and a belting little sex shop across the road.

Thoroughly recommend Klemser Hois. It's in the Jewish quarter on the south side of the centre. In a lovely and lively square and centrally located to walk to several interesting bits. We had no problem parking there either if that's an issue. The hotel itself has wonderful art deco features and furniture and wasn't very expensive.
