I have some Hunt four seasons gravel disc wheels. I use shimano centre lock brake rotors. The wheels came as qr at the front and rear.

My Datum frame is 15mm bolt through front axle, so i bought the Hunt adapters and the disc brake lockring to suit.

Having fitted the adapters, and offered the wheel up into forks, the disc rotor lock ring is touching the inside of the fork leg.

Is this a complete incompatability issue or have i done something wrong?

Check their (Hunt) website but you might need another adaptor

possibly this

That is the item i ordered, but the item i recieved looks identical to the one i have when i ordered my wheels. So its possible they have sent me the wrong part? Mine isnt branded shimano like that in the picture

Had this problem, there is a slim lock ring ( the bb type) that does work. Mine wasn't supplied with tha brakes and Mason ended up sending me one

Not Hunt wheels, but I used a lock ring like that shown in peteimpreza 's link-
SJS cycles Shimano-HBM618 lock ring, although without the bit about thru-axles. (Hope RS4 rear hub)

The linked to items in all of the above posts may still be too thick.

I had the same problem with Bontrager Affinity wheels, on my Kinesis Racelight 4S disc build.

The real answer, is to use the lock ring from this adapter, which is thinner.

Quite why these aren't available separately, is a mystery - in fact, Shimano should just supply with all of their rotors, and provide compatibility with all axle/fork combinations.

have you spoken to Hunt? i've messaged Hamish from there; they're aware of the problem and have said they'll post one of the low profile 15mm lockrings to me!!
