How odd considering all the gates.
Where are they all?
If you look at Heathrow, Bristol etc. there's lots of planes visible.
Using that link I can see loads!?
Yup, loads of em!
Sod off!
Yeah, that's weird, especially as the car parks are rammed full. Fairly recent too, as there's all that new T2 building work going on.
Shit loads of planes.
But some weird looking half planes where there must have been some cloud cover so they’ve done some image blending.
This is in google maps iOS app.
Google Earth / Maps can show different images and if you turn on/off terrain in GE it can change the image again...
see at least 15
I've just looked on my Android tablet and I can see loads of planes!
What's going on here then?
Using that link I don't see any.
Dracs iPad is finally broken.
Luckily my phone works as I can see loads on there.
Maybe the quieter picture was taken at night when the airport is closed?
No idea but my phone and computer are different pictures. Loads on the phone, none on the computer.
Maybe the quieter picture was taken at night when the airport is closed?
Where do you think all the first thing in the morning departures come from?
No cars on the roads either. Weird.
Maybe the quieter picture was taken at night when the airport is closed?
It goes dark at night.
Where do you think all the first thing in the morning departures come from?
They fly in from Irony.
Half rendered purple plane is interesting
I can see Thomas Cook Aircraft Engineering, that might be heading the same way as the planes very soon.
If your using the google earth app, it does a 3D rendering thingy, where there are no planes but when you turn that off you get planes galore.

"Google has a new algorithm that can remove the planes from the picture."
The Scousers knicked them all?
