The dog is in desperate need of shearing. Does active have any experience of what’s hot and what’s not for dog fur clippers?

I promise to post photos of our efforts 🙂

I used my hair clippers this week. Good enough for the short term.

We’ve used Wahl ones in the past but they’ve been a bit flimsy. Currently using Andis Ultra Edge ones that my wife bought from a dog show a few years back. We trim our dog on a regular basis, so need some decent clippers!

I've been pondering the same thing.
Ours was due to be trimmed on the first day of lock down - sods law......

Three years and no problems with the battery.

the slightly less impressive Guiseley FC 'lion' mascot

I didn't even know about this, went to see a game one evening on a boring business trip, couldn't believe my eyes!!

Not mine but he was keeping an eye on us at the workspace I sometimes hire - that was his look for the summer heatwave the year before last. The previous time I worked there was during the Beast from the East and he looked like Chewbacca.

Thanks all. Ordered a set of Andis Ultra Edge. With having dog 2 now they’ll soon pay for themselves 🙂

Just got back from our daily dog walk, I’ll pass on the Arco Moser recommendation to the local farmer
