Folks

Im having a spot of bother linking an instagram post into a forum topic and getting it to display properly!

Whats the best way to get the forum to display the instagram post with out it inserting a Hyperlink?

You need to be logged out of Instagram

Navigate to the port without being logged in

Copy address

Paste in the post box with no code.

Yeah Mick got utterly ****ed off with image hosting being a bag of bollocks and the codes on here being a bag of bollocks so post much less photos as I don't put much on Instagram -but it's infinitely simpler to do than any of the hosting methods from your phone

You don't have to be logged out as far as I can tell. I just shared the above while still logged into the app.

Ah so as long as the link goes straight in to the box with no code all is good!

I don't use the link box thingy. Just paste the link right into the big text box.

In Instagram app, press 3 dots top right, Share, down bottom 'Share with other apps'  copy to clipboard, paste into here.

That's worth knowing. BB codes from Flickr are working again. But not from a phone.

Feltin you need to change your permissions on your phone Instagram account to allow sharing.
