Thinking of playing around with a custom frame is there a website/app?
That's good to play about with a design keeping it simple with a single pivot fullsus
Bikecad is ok for geometry - the free version is a bit clunky but I didn’t find anything better. Not sure how well it works for full suss designs - I’d be inclined to find single pivot bikes currently on sale that you like and start with their geo and tweak what you don’t quite like.
Won’t help with suspension dynamics though I don’t think. If you’re after a custom geo full suss bike it’s either Marino on the more budget side of things - or it’s going to cost a lot - for the likes of Starling / Curtis etc.
Bike cad output is like the 2 images below. The green bike is from the free one and I assume the other one (from Marino) is using the paid for version.

If you are going to make a frame, then a fullsize drawing helps.
Pencil and paper works.
