I tried to like yours so you could test it and it told me I had to be logged in. So guess it's not quite ready for production 😀

No, no, no, I have a way better idea.  Enable ‘down votes’ but don’t allow willy nilly down voting.  Instead sell down votes in small quantity’s, say £10 for a thousand that any registered member can use as they wish.  You will make an absolute killing in the usual old lengthy threads.

First tweak. You now CAN'T like your own posts 🙂

I find it a bit of an odd implementation, I would rather it be on the bottom of the post, or maybe the top right hand side, the number beside the first line is just a bit visually distracting, maybe I will just get used to it, could be my dyslexia creating a small additional thought process to separate the number from the actual post.

I really like the up arrow to jump to the top of the page. I'd love a down arrow to jump to the bottom though. That would be much more useful to me (especially since on iOS you can just tap the clock to jump to the top anyway).

There’s are down sides to likes. It’s another thing that gets  measured and suddenly half of us are below average

Of course if I’m above average I’ll see it differently

Likes are great and all, but I'd much rather see an option to jump to first unread post.

Then there's people like me that couldn't care less if liked or not.

Where no doubt others will measure self worth by them  ...

For ages I've avoided using 'WTF' on the forum in case it constituted some form of abbreviated swear filter avoidance, but there is is in an actual editorial article subhead. I feel slightly cheated 🙁
