Zwift Connection Failure Issues

Hi,

I very much appreciate that this is a niche question, but I'm hoping someone out there has an idea of what's going on.

I have a new Zwift Hub, connected to an HP laptop running Win10 in my garage. I also have a new ANT+ dongle on an extension cable sitting beside the hub. Everything works perfectly, as long as I don't have my mobile phone anywhere near me. Last night my Zwift hub connection was dropping out because I'd left my phone on the kitchen table and had forgotten to switch its Bluetooth off.

Here's my problem. I'm a type 1 diabetic and my phone connects to my Libre 2 glucose sensor via Bluetooth. So, when Zwifting, at the moment I'm doing so with no idea what my glucose levels are like. I never had this problem with my old Halford's wheel on trainer. The only thing that I can think of that's changed in my overall setup is that I lost the chest strap for my 'Coospoo' heart rate monitor, so have been using my Garmin watch which broadcasts via Bluetooth to my laptop as well. Am I just overloading the Bluetooth? Is there a way that I can maybe force the Zwift Hub to use the ANT+ and reduce the burden on my Bluetooth connection?

When you are in the Zwift pairing screen, click on "Search" and you should see all the relevant devices, with both their Bluetooth and ANT+ connections. I don't know what the Zwift hub is called but it might have the letters FE-C included for the ANT+ radio. Click on those to use them instead of Bluetooth. After you've done this once, it should pick them up by default.

I'm a T1D in the same sort of setup, using Libre2/Xdrip/Garmin while I'm sat on a smart turbo in front of a Win10 pc in the garage. I get a few drops on the bluetooth for the glucose monitoring stuff, but it's generally fine, and reconnects fairly fast.
I'd actually wondered if it was my big nasty fan causing the issue by putting out some EM noise, rather than bluetooth contention.

I get the choice of linking the smart trainer via bluetooth or Ant+ though at the pairing screen, and am using Ant+ where I can.
