Anyone remember them?
Just found 4 bags full of bits with loads of instruction manuals to go with them.
Going to take me a while to sort out all the relevant parts for each one...
There's some of the big ones too 😀

Loved zoids. I never had one of the big ones but had a few small ones.

Was the biggest and best called zoidzilla?

I had a few - a stegosaurus, a spider and I think maybe a t-rex (but that could have been some other kit toy). All small and with a little gold fella sat in their heads.
Were they wind-up? I seem to remember them walking and falling to bits a lot. Little rubber grommets that would always get lost.

Disappointed this isn't a "Look what they re-released" thread. 🙁

They were indeed wind-up, frequently fell to bits and the rubber fasteners fell off.

I had the C64 game and could never understand a damn thing about it. Was a really odd game.

I don’t remember them as fondly. They were shite. Wind them up and watch them fall over / to bits. Had a couple of small ones and a gorilla.

Had a Giant Zrk (diplodocus zoid) which I loved.

I also loved the C64 game, and Rob Hubbard's soundtrack 🙂

Loved zoos, only had a few small ones, the rubber connectors I loved to chew 🙂  I have vivid memories of playing with them whilst listening my dads Jean Michel Jarre tapes...

The game was totally bonkers and completely unfathomable.

Good timing as I have been watching a Zoidzilla on eBay! Thought they were ace and remember mum getting me a load of the decent ones in a sale. Zoidzilla, Red Horn the Terrible and some bird thing called Prince something or other. Skill.

Loved zoids as a kid. Had some smaller ones but the bestest was the large red triceratops and the large t-rex, both battery powered.

A friend at the time had family over in Japan. He frequently brought back ones you couldn't get in the UK. Was always jealous.

Haha, I remember them so well, zoidzilla was one of them I had. I also used to chew the little rubber caps, you could bite them and they would suck to the end of your tongue!!!
Memories hey 🙂

Well, disappointment set in last night.
None of the other kits are complete and a few broken pieces 🙁
I think I'll just whack it on eBay as a job lot.
