Yep, nice descent that one.
There's a couple of short rocky bits near the top that throw in a little challege element to it too. Annoyingly, I've usually stalled on one or the other.
Roll-on the next lot of either dry or frozen conditions.

Ooh I like that one too, don't hit it often enough... Last time we ended up ploughing through bracken to see where it took us instead of down to the telegraph poles.

Not in the Peak, but this was amazing:

This one is in the Peak, very well known I suspect and maybe a little underrated...

Lowey - its above ladybower. the trail drops down to the bridleway that takes you to ladybower inn. thats bamford edge in the distance.

the steep section can cetainly be tricky!!! the bracken has died away from the trails that go to the right towards yorks bridge and they are great fun to ride. ahem!

FMC - I havent a clue where that is... is that kinder in the distance? Not the trsail down from hope cross towards edale is it? aint done that yet if it is.

FMC's pic is of The descent down Coldwell Clough and the light track you can see to the right takes you to the top of Jacobs Ladder, with Kinder just above it.

Here - http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=405422&y=385580&z=120&sv=405422,385580&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=517&ax=405422&ay=385580&lm=0

It is an underated bit of trail, taken fast the corners can catch you out quite easily and the drainage chanels offer some air time, also leads to the Campsite descent with is another cracker

The campsite descent is great- I wish it was longer. OP your trail leads into a footpath and you shouldn't openly advertise it 😉 .....saying that I think naughty SFB has already taken the Bogtrotters down it so no secret anymore...

There are better secret singletrack trails out there but the appointed keepers of the Peaks would hurt me if I told 8)

aye top trail that but it leads to a bridleway, not a footpath. It's a cracker.

Well worth (responsibly) riding.

The internet also tells me I 'need' to try 'shipman extreme' but I haven't dared yet ..

EDIT: Sorry, How can I downsize pictures linked from facebook?

Shipman extreme is Parkin Clough. I'd say avoid!

How do you downsize pics? Why would you want to do that?! Revell in the size 8)

Yup what Carlos et al said - even easier to be caught out when there's a herd of cows blocking the trail!

Campsite descent eh? Is that heading back down into Hayfield? We tend to bear right up to Edale Cross and down Jacobs...

Campsite descent - http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=405115&y=386545&z=120&sv=405115,386545&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=518&ax=405115&ay=386545&lm=0

Yeah once you've descended Coldwell Clough keep left on the road, after about 15m there is a track off to the left, follow through the gate, then take the right path, keep left at the bottom and cross the river, up the steps and it brings you out opposite The Sportsmans Pub.

No problems except a bit on the flat at the bottom in the trees which gets muddy boggy

I so need to get out and explore more in the Peak. Got into the habit of doing the same trails all the time, which is rubbish!

Yep, in my opinion all the best singletrack in the peak is South of Hope Valley. And mostly cheeky...
