who is the youngest person posting on here? How old are they?

I assumed until just now that it’s generally all middle aged people like me on here, perhaps I’m wrong?

I think there is one really young guy that posts here, really young, about 31 or so.

I'm 43. Not the youngest, but I bet I'm still below average age.

I feel well below average age when the death penalty, Dire Straights, Pink Floyd or Daivd Bowie pop up on a thread.

I still behave like a 10 year old but in reality I am closer to retirement than being 21.

I know for fact that there is someone on here who posts - albeit fairly infrequently - and who has been for about 3 years, who is 18.

I'm simultaneously 43 and 2 at the same time.

To clarify, I had a falling down incident in July 2016 which resulted in me being a bit dead for about 10 minutes.

So I like to think that I have my birthday (70s) and my re-birthday (2016).

It's also good from the point of view that they are quite spread out so I can have a summer and winter birthday.

Do I win?

27, and been coming here for 6 or 7 years now. I think it was a combination of university study and procrastination, and living abroad for a while that got me drawn in.

I remember when 26" was the great new thing. I also remember when BMX was the great new thing. And when Raleigh Grifters, Choppers, Boxers and Commandos ruled the streets.

Punk's not dead! (notice the apostrophe).

46 in November and probably about average? Been here since probably whenever it started though.

MBUK is still going, so there must be some interest amongst the youth?  Just not here.

35, but joined in 2003 when I was 20. I was definitely one of the younger people then.

In the 70’s Raleigh experimented with putting the saddle and handlebars from a Chopper onto the frame of a Grifter.

It was called a Groper.

Didn’t catch on except with Radio 1 DJs

Signed up on the old forum during work experience, so I would have been 16? So early next year I'll have been on the forum for longer than I've not!

Promptly got fleeced for a set of Manitou Forks with a f***** damper on the classifieds bought with my wages from that work experience.

Ironically a few years I later sold another set of similar forks which exploded on the new owner, I did refund him though.

I am 21 again this year.

I started counting in hexadecimal, so was 21 again.

Now 21 again this year (in base 23).

Is it actually written in to law which mathematical base is the only one to have a legal standing?

My four year old just typed that. Tried getting the one year old to type, but she just attempted to eat the phone. Surely I’m winning or do they need their own accounts?

60 next month....

The last time we did this the average age turned out to be about 36. That was probably 3-4 years ago so it might have gone up a shade.

Think it was 2003 when I started on here, might be earlier. Certainly here when the ‘Big Hack’ happened. I miss being able to switch user names at will...

I’ll be 65 next year...

I use to always be pretty much the average age, I’m 45 (just hanging onto it) I reckon way off now as I’m sure the last time I was over.
