It's just the best day of the week! Stuff done at home, walk to the pub with the dog and tribe, beef cobs pints then dirty sex pool finish. What's for dinner i wonder?
I did not understand the second part of the second sentence. At all!
fried pork products for brekkie, 20 mile potter on the bike, couple of nice pints, visit from kids/grandkids, roast beef and tatties just eaten.
god is good....... 8)
At home on a Subday? How's that work then?
Turbo session in a freezing garage before 8am and then a trip to Chester for a walk around the Roman wall in the drizzle and a couple of pints.
Home for a roast dinner and now just about to play Monopoly with the kids before bed.
wall to wall sunshine walk to the pub, 3 pints of ghostship, walk home casserole mash yorky pud and a lovely bottle of red.... espresso and brandy to finish. Smashed sunday.
At home on a Subday?
I fear Subday may be an entirely different proposition.
Though with the dirty sex pool, perhaps not.
IKEA and then building IKEA stuff. What do I win?
Surf this morning, car testing this afternoon, garden centre for more bird food, hot dogs and salad for supper with Leffe beer too.
IKEA and then building IKEA stuff. What do I win?
An allen key.
Yes, best Sunday for some time. Our toddler sleep slept through the night in his own room for the first time, beautiful 12km bike ride with him on frozen paths in the morning, quick lunch and a bit of work while he slept then weekly shop done before 4! Dinner, bath, bedtime stories done, he's settled into his bed and I'm hoping he'll go through the night again.
And in there my wife took the dog for a lovely walk, marked her classes books and had a reflexology student round practicing!
Tip-Top day all round.
Up early, 25miles MTB with a couple of mates at -6c.
Load up the van for work, crash in front of PC..fall asleep.
Nice big home cooked roast dinner, crash in front of tv, job done.
Good one for me, up in the Lakes last night, a nice paddle (kayak type, not rolled-up trousers type) down the Leven this morning, sausage butty for lunch then a detour on the drive home to get in a gentle run round Malham Tarn this afternoon. Pasta for tea, hot bath then an early night.
Out last night with the Club (DVATC) for the best curry I've had in years ( the Viceroy, Midland Rd, Derby), home at 12.30 this morning, up at 6 to get the kayak down to Upper Arley on the River Severn. I nearly cried when on the water as my fingers were so cold. After a short break it got better though. An early finish due to a good flow on the river pushing us along, back home for 3pm, cleaned the van, cleaned the chickens out, cleaned the boat, looked at my bike, in to cook the dinner, steak chips onions peas carrots, bath after reading a mag, then down here doing nothing.
Happy with that.
