I posted the latest instalment in my car devaluation thread ( https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/are-you-bored-enough-to-watch-project-ds911/) yesterday and this morning I checked in to see if anyone had watch the video and found this incredibly useful graph from YouTube statistics.
It is meant to show the Views age. So either my viewers started off extremely young and are gradually getting older ot the graph is a load of bllx and just shows the number of views over time.
Are YT stats all this dependable?
Any better tools to watch my global influence grow and spread?
Given how slow progress is, it is correct to see the viewers growing older as they watch the content! 😂
A little finer detail might be nice as well.
How many viewers over the age of 120 do you expect?
Specifically age or other personal info, they just don't have enough data on people's profiles and/or you don't have enough views for those statistics. There should be a banner at the top of the graph saying something like "Limited data available with the time period..." and if you click on the blue links tou can get the 'report' that typically has lots of blanks. I do find the analytics helpful / funny to see just how many 40 year old male Indians watch my video (i.e. bots) 😆 From the main Youtube Studio page when you click on a video it takes you to the overview page, once you have enough views the 'Audience' tab gives you a breakdown.
Bit of an odd choice to do it cumulatively, but I don't see it being bollocks, it's the gradient of the graph that'll show the popular age group. Of course their data is only as good as the information people have provided them.
Are you sure you're reading that right?
I'd assume the Y axis is number of viewers, X axis age? That would make a lot of sense, but I don't know how many views your video has had.
