As above really. Just bought a nice new DSLR, and want to find a bag to carry it plus one lens and, ideally a spare lens. Nothing massively huge on the lens front, and ideally something as weatherproof as possible, so that I could, if need be, somehow integrate it/join it/use it with my Osprey pack for riding and getting all arty with the shots on the trail.

I used to have a Lowe Pro years ago, but just been looking for it and it's disappeared. 🙁 So, what's the flavour du jour?

What is it with whatever input device you use flashy? Noone suffers doublepostitis as badly as you. 😕

I know, I think it's my mouse. I may have to put it to sleep and get a new one. 🙁

Good to have you back, BTW.

Lowe alpine - I have a simple toploader AW and it is functional, simple, well made and works.

It's Luis Vuitton, but I'm sure you'll be able to get something similar next time you're in Singapore or Hong Kong or Mainland China or South America or....

Thanks, Matt. I think that may be the way. What's it like on weatherproofing? Don't need a dry bag, but something to keep the worst out would be good.

Tenba Messenger - I've got one and it's pretty decent.

Flashie, you disappoint me, really, you do..... there was I thinking you knew all about nice things... especially those that are handmade in the UK 😉

Their heritage is fishing gear so yes, they are weather proof!
Don't worry about integration with your Osprey - just have your Gentleman's Gentleman follow you with it 😉
Oh, yes, should mention, they are built to last - I have a more mature photographer friend whose Billingham is older than his younger wedding clients...!

NOt bad, usual tough codura-like nylon and a proper waterproof pull out cover. Worked in some tough rain so far for me.

Marsden, I am of course well aware of Billingham. Top kit, but I don't thing they make what I'm after.

Thanks, Matt. Will go and have a look at one.

Lowepro Slingshot. Been using one for years and has a stowaway waterproof cover.

I know 🙂 - they do offer a harness sort of thing but not at all right for the bike - would be nice to think they'll have something more suitable on the drawing board one day......
I do know a couple of people with the toploader matt mentions - they like them, though they are both more into walking as opposed to riding..

I'm very happy with my Lowepro Micro Trekker 200, I think they also do one smaller than this, and they have a waterproof option too.
