We want to replace the ancient house alarm in our house fitted by previous owners with one that includes our garage and gives alerts via an app or similar. Research so far suggests the Yale Smart Sync alarms are fairly decent but keen for feedback from actual users if possible.
Alternatively, what other recommendations from the world of STW for a smart house alarm?
No need for cameras as we already have a decent CCTV set up.
No need for certification for house insurance so I'm OK with self-install.
Not keen on ongoing subscriptions.
Wireless would be easier install.
To cover outbuilding and garage too.
We also have Honeywell Evohome heating control and thought it'd make sense to add their security system into it (as they share the same app), but reviews suggest it's not the best system.
