Seeing the tour de Yorkshire presentation and all the Y emblems reminded me of the Y cardigans in the early 80s.
I used to want one, but my mum thought them revolting. I’m guessing she was right! Anyone sport one?

God I remember those.
School days were Stay Pressed burgundy trousers, Y cardy and black brogues. I never had any of them and consequently didn’t look like a tit (as much anyway!)

Yes as well as a burgundy waffle cardigan and a shirt with a tie pin and a little chain that went over the tie.
