xt i-spec shifters - are they woth getting over standard xt shifter pods

Anyone used them. Are they worth getting - i have the m785 xt brakes so will work

I've got them... they're very neat and because they're adjustable, they let you get a nice spacing between grip and shifter, while still having one finger braking.

If you're bling enough to have the shiny XTs, you *need* them.

My thoughts are the same. Think it will save space on the bar. Do you just need the xt m785 brakes and the i spec shifters and nothing elese. I presume they then just connect to the brakes?

yeah, they are like sram matchmakers - the brake lever has the bar clamp and the shifter attaches to the brake lever.

I prefer them, but only as they look cleaner on the bars.
