He's sporty. Likes music.
Maybe something to wear, but apart from a black hoodie all ideas welcome please.

I'm not down with the kids, so have little knowledge of the 'in thing' of the moment.

I thank you.

I’m not down with the kids, so have little knowledge of the ‘in thing’ of the moment.

The answer is therefore 'give money'. Seriously, as an uncle to a 17 year old, a 15 year old and a 14 year old, they're all at the age where no matter what you buy, it'll be the wrong thing, so they just get money put into their bank account.

None of us do!

My daughter is 19 on Monday - if I didn't ask for a list of 'possibles' I'd have no ruddy idea what to buy her! 🙂

In that case, the answer is 'more money'. If you want something for him to actually open, fair enough, but I wouldn't spend £50 on it, cos it'll probably be £50 wasted unless you ask him what he'd like beforehand.

Put it this way, when you were 18, would you have wanted to wear something your *mumbles*- year old Aunt had bought for you? I know I wouldn't have.
