I got coffee Dead Man's Fingers, which I've been enjoying and a bottle of Aldi's "finest" non-Japanese but bottled in Japan whisky, Kyasuku.

One bottle of nice Rioja.

That's it.

Good job I bought myself an Ardbeg and a Laphroaig Quarter Cask, eh?

I got a bottle of Bunnahabhain 12 from MrsDoris, and am feeling very pleased with myself.

It's really, really nice 🙂

Amazon gifted me a bottle of Scapa Skiren for opening a credit card. Goes very well with Chrimbo cake and movies.

4 bottles of Spitting Feathers beer
2 bottles of Spitting Feathers gin
A bottle of Gran Orendain Anejo Tequila from my Mum
8 Christmas beers - mix of Belgians and UK craft

I don't drink gin, and have about 3 beers/two shots a week so it's at least a month of beer and a couple of months of Tequila.

My more or less brother in law gave me a whole bunch of his home brew, so I have a selection of darker ales and his christmas stout. Sorry, I did have a bottle of the stout, but that is gone now.

A very nice box of craft ales, strangely enough I can't remember the name of it.
Also a very nice bottle of Clynelish 14yr old.

Lone Wolf Cloudy Lemonade Gin - had the cactus and lime one last year which was v.nice
Arran Sherry Cask single malt - sounds good, is cask strength at 55%
Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum - never heard of it, asked brother in law for rum and it would appear he got the most expensive one from Fenwicks

Think my family are trying to tell me something...
Aldi's Glen Marnoch Islay
Aldi's Glen Marnoch Speyside
A Loch Lomond Single Malt(no, I hadn't heard of it either, but it's not a bad tipple by any stretch)
and the dog wins the prize for finding me a bottle of Laphroaig 10

I got an Islay Malts tasting kit.

This was an excellent choice of gift as my previous experiences with the Islay drams have rather put me off them so I'm looking forward to going through them with tasting notes in hand and without the risk of wasting the cost of a bottle. I've bought in some good, dark chocolate to assist in the process.

Try it with some really hefty cheese too. Whatever floats your boat cheese-wise, but I've tried it alongside some mature cheddar, aged Reypenaer (like a vintage Gouda) and various blues like Stilton or Roquefort. Yet to be disappointed!
