Is it possible to play online in the same house, like a LAN version of LIVE or both play in the same multiplayer game?
We have a Xbox in the living room and another old one in the shed/play room.
Son is pestering me to play fortnite and other games with him, we have played before with him on his switch and me on the xbox.
Do we need two copies of the game and two Xbox live accounts or is there a work around?
I think you need two XBox live accounts - we've got 2 Xboxes in the house on the same account and if one connects to Xbox live it disconnects the other one.
set up a family account, then you just have one set as the main xbox which anyone can play live on, and then xbox live will work on the second one providing you're logged into it.
That's how we use it at home (simular set up)
As for games, if they're digital anyone in the family can use them (even at the same time)
You’ll need an Xbox account and fortnite account. Fortnite is free and also does not require the Gold to play.
What chomp said.
Family account sorts it.
Thanks, I will sort the family account after work.
