Looking at getting one of these for the family for Xmas as already have the Xbox itself. Anyone got one as curious to know if they are worth the money or not?

Looking at getting Kinectimals for my 2 girls aged 4 and 6 plus sports, dance games for adults.

Cheers, Nick

Worth the money if you like the games, innit, like any of this stuff.

Your daughters may like it if there into that kind of thing. As for adults I found it just to be another gimmick, fun for a few hours but gets boring quickly. They get traded in at games shops quite frequently which from my experience in that workplace suggests alot. Infect if you decide to buy one look at the second hand ones, most have hardly been used.

Why would I spend over £300 on a new wii and a ps3 when I have an Xbox, which is a) better than PS3 (Blueray aside) and b) kinect ready meaning I don't have to buy a new accessory everytime a game comes out on the wii?

Sensible replies welcome 🙂

Thanks everyone else, considered thoughts there.

I borrowed a mate's for an evening. Great fun, but it needs a tremendous amount of space to use effectively. If the Xbox is in a small room with lots of furniture it's probably not for you.
