If you've got your own canoe / kayak / inflatable, we've used Kennys Taxi before and would recommend. Lovely bloke but you need to pre-book well in advance. We did the lower section as a day trip, parked at Monmouth rowing club (Council car park to right), Kenny picked us up and took us to put-in at Stowfield Road car park at Mill Row, but Kerne Bridge put-in would also be doable. You get the views of Yat Rock, the rapids and plenty of nice woodland.

Kerne Bridge is the usual put in for day trips from the Symonds Yat operators / outfitters so it can get really crazy busy in summer / spring school holidays.

For the area around Glasbury / Hereford, Hay Taxi Bus do canoe transfers if you have your own. Otherwise outfitters will organise transport for a day trip. I've only done from Hereford downstream, but I get the impression the Glasbury to Hereford section is very nice. Just need to be aware of water levels and potential pollution issues unfortunately (applies to all of the lower Wye).
