Looking to try and put something together for the cycling club I'm in, most likely next year.
There are several companies out there who'll charge for providing a cycle tour - and the level of support is dependent on what you pay for.
Probably looking for something 4-5 days duration (due to work).
I want to keep costs to a minimum for the club so will organise crossing, accommodation, etc myself. But does anyone have knowledge of some ready-made routes please ?
I know Cycling UK do things, but again you pay for this and also I think there's only a few of us that are members.
Thanks.

Having travelled through the area in a car, it's not some where I would actively choose to cycle as the scenery is all a bit dull.

All of it? All of the Western Front? All the way from Nieuport to Switzerland , yep boring.

Thanks.
No, not all of it. Basically the main sites, perhaps around Ypres, etc

If you look at the map in my link and concentrate on the British part of the line, which runs from the sea to the river Somme, you have roughly two bits: Flanders and the Somme. In my opinion the Somme is far prettier and that's where I'd be heading. Have a look HERE

We've just been staying near Verdun. Seemed to be pretty geared up for cyclists and the scenery was nice. Moderately flat and quiet roads. Lots of war stuff from WW1 plus a few other military sites. The German trenches in Saint Bressiant, which are being steadily dug out and cleared by local volunteers, are well worth a visit. Can't help with tours though.
