time set to auto
= time all screwed up - shows about 4 hours behind the correct time - reset it by putting phone on and off- all was good , till my alarm negated to go off this morning and was telling me it was 2am !
is it a glitch in the matrix ? is my phone shafted ? anyone else had this

it could be - but i rarely plug it into my pc .... even then mostly when i do its my net book and its linux based - never been an issue in the past

Odd. Just checked mine and it's set to auto, and I've never had an issue with it. Try doing a full hard shutdown, pressing home and sleep buttons on until the phone shuts right down then powering back up as normal. As a last resort you could do a factory restore, then do a restore from backup. Make sure you do a full backup first.
figured it out - it was syncing with the local router which was set to east coast usa time ....
found out by accident - trying to kick the guy in the room next to me off the router for hoggin all the bandwidth streaming tv to his room ... cock - a couple of days without internet will stop that 😀
