Hi, can you set a max and min HR on a wrist based Activity Tracker or Watch so that it alerts on the app with an audible alert?
Need something to alert for monitoring nighttime epilepsy. The current medical one we have is buggy and too many false positives.

I wouldn't trust a normal activity tracker for this. e.g. On Monday night mine did a reasonable job of saying I exercised on the turbo, last night I turbo'd again and it failed to register that I'd done much more than sit on the couch

We are looking to see if it would alert on the app as the person would be asleep in a different room. We use a wrist based Brio system now but a lot of false positives.

Wrist based HR on both my Garmins in steady state, ie what you're looking for, work fine, and yes, alerts can be set.

I think the apple only alerts on the watch, not the app/phone. It says it records it in the health app on the phone but nothing about alerts.

True, I think Garmin are the same tbh, only alerts on the phone.

There are baby monitors with HR pads, worth a look?.
