Shysters all the same! 180 quids worth of train tickets, the computer said no and dropped us a text. The most painful procedure was dealing with the inept fools at Lloyds!

Is this some sort of cryptic quiz question?

Account hacked for £180 , bank flagged it. Bit of hassle to get it reimbursed?

Apologies for the op if not clear, but yes, as above, that's what happened. Actually getting access to our own account and trying to explain that they had text us with possible dodgy transactions was the hardest part. The mistake they (the shysters) made was apparently making a claim for zero pounds to test the card was live first. The programmes running the checks must be some pretty clever stuff.

My wife discovered some fraudulent transactions on her John Lewis account - but using someone else's credit card and different delivery address for 2x MacBook pro laptops worth £6k+ She called them and yet they refused to do anything about it - they still shipped them out in her name. Probably an inside job given the way that her account was used to facilitate fraud. They reckon the scale of fraud is massive but banks are afraid to admit how really bad it is.
