Seen a couple of ads popping up on my facebook feed for Northern Lights trips to Iceland, via wowcher. Any experience? Am I going to be inundadated with utter crap or are they ok? Is it the usual "bait and switch" where the advertised price is only available to the first person to sign up for a three day trip flying out of exeter airport in April whien you can;'t see the lights anwyay, whereas a trip from an airport near me like Manchester, in January when the lights are more visible, is going to be four time the price?
cheers
From my experiences with voucher sites I'd be wary, do your research on the whole deal and if in any doubt forget it. If its light on details then walk away. KGB was particularly bad for crap deals , Groupon less so (in my experience).
We did a wowcher for a brewery day - worked fine.
A noticeable increase in spam from them, not third parties - I just unsubscribe do from the emails after a week or so.
