Looks like there could be some dry trails on Skye and parts of the inner western isles. Shame I would have to spend about 3 days getting there from 200 miles away.

Try Coll and Tiree, they're reknowned for their splendid downhills.

wonder how up to date the pic is.

The University of Dundee's satellite receiving station captured this image of how the heavy snow of the past week has affected the UK.

The picture, which was received at 1145 GMT on Thursday from Nasa satellite Terra, shows almost the entire country covered by a blanket of snow.

No its not, only the peninsula that Stranraer sits on was snow free in that pic.

That photo is definitely this year. West coast and norther Ireland are clear. They weren't last year.
There was a pic last year that had more snow coverage and less cloud.

That ones still great cheers for sharing.
